Do some of your students have difficulties describing, classifying, naming,..etc..? The describing visual helps students describe vocabulary in many ways (group, function, attributes, feel/ taste/sound,..etc..). The visual is great for expanding descriptions and great for speaking and writing about vocabulary! This activity pack will help target descriptions receptively and expressively!
-The cards in this activity are Summer Themed!
Students will draw cards and use the describing visual to describe each item (or they can use the describing visual aid to express one description).
-Game time! Board Game: Students will take turns rolling a dice and moving along the board while drawing a card and describing it for each turn!
Student will pick two cards and express similarities and differences between two items using visual. Then they will fill out a follow-up Venn diagram.
