I have so enjoyed Eve Bunting's stories.and have added another to my list, Sunflower House. This story is written in rhyming text describing the life cycle of a sunflower throught the eyes of a little boy. In this story Eve Bunting sneaks in a little science with an entertaining text.
Depending upon the level of your students the book may be used as a read aloud or in small group reading instruction. The items in this packet can be used in more than one way.
