Description

Your students will love having Sunglasses Spectacular as a fun theme day! You can invite students to bring in their favorite pair of sunglasses or maybe you have some cheap sunglasses you want to give away. You can easily extend the learning with fun literacy and math activities. These theme days are perfect any time of year, but they are especially fun at the end of the year! Your students will love coming to school each day with a new theme day!

Sunglasses Day Literacy Activities Included:

  • Read aloud suggestions
  • Write about Pete the Cat and his Magic Sunglasses.
  • Write about your own Magic Sunglasses.
  • Design your own Magic Sunglasses.

Sunglasses Day Math Activities Included:

  • Sunny Sums! Roll the dice to see how many counters to place on each sunglass lens. Then fill in the equation. Then roll the dice and play again. Laminate the sheet or place in a sheet protector so students can easily erase and play again.
