These Superhero themed tasks cards allow students to add four 2 digit numbers together while incorporating movement. The Superhero theme adds excitement to the cards and make adding more enjoyable for the student. Task cards can be hung around the room and students rotate to each card and record their answer on the recording sheet (which is included). Cards begin with no regrouping and gradually increase with difficulty until regrouping in both the tens and ones place occurs. Great for center work, an assessment, group work, or independent work.
Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
Add and subtract within 1000, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method.
