Whole brain teaching is a classroom management system that allows you to manage your classroom effortlessly from the first day of school. It uses brain research to activate multiple areas of the brain simultaneously so that students can retain more content knowledge over time. Not only that but it puts in place procedures and routines that aid in smooth transitions, behavior problems, and academic difficulties. This resource is to be used as part of the super improver wall displayed in your classroom. The super improver wall has many options that you can implement but the basic one includes ten levels. Students are awarded stars when they show IMPROVEMENT based on their prior abilities. This could reflect academic, behavioral, or personal goals and should never be used to compare a student to anyone else. As the student shows you that they are improving award them a star and make a big deal out of it. Then, when they reach 10 stars move them up a level.
I have created these owl themed super improver wall labels to help make setting this aspect up in your classroom easier for you. Simply print out on cardstock and laminate so that they can last for as long as you’d like. Then display them prominently in your classroom along with your students names on the first level color.
Included in this resource:
*10 super improver levels that are owl themed
* teacher notes that explain how to use them and a link to the WBT website
