In my elementary classroom, I select one student each week to be the Super Kid (student of the week). The students get to take home the special Super Kid bag on Friday and return it the following week. These letters are for the parents to read and understand what comes in the bag and explains what to do with the materials provided.
*** I had a small class this year so each child got to be Super Kid twice throughout the year. The first parent letter was designed for the first round of Super Kids. The second parent letter is for the second time the students would be Super Kid.
The materials in the Super Kid bag are "All About Me" poster (found at any teachers supply store), a zip-loc bag, and a brown paper bag. For the second round of Super Kids, I wanted to make a class book for each of them, so I included two pieces of white cardstock or construction paper for them to decorate.
If you implement any kind of Super Hero theme in your classroom and want to choose a special student of the week, these letters are all ready to go!!
Feel free to ask any questions or clarifications on this Super Kid fun. Don't forget to leave feedback! Thank you!! :)
