Easy to implement and requiring very little prep, this Super Sentences! Year Long Writing Pack includes everything you need to help your students learn how to write "Super Sentences" and become Super Hero Writers the whole year long-from August/September through May/June!
Colorful Super Sentence Writing Charts plus Blackline masters, full size and mini writing book covers, and lined paper with 2 different dived lines are included for the following months and themes:
1. August/September-Back to School
2. October-Halloween
3. November-Thanksgiving
4. December-Holidays
5. January-Winter animals
6. February-Valentine's Day
7. March-St. Patty’s Day, Weather
8. April-Spring, Easter
9 .May/June-Summer, Beach
These charts can be used with your whole class to model how to write a super sentence, placed in your writing corner for free writing time,
used during your writing block, or used in a writing center. Your students simply choose a word from each column of the chart to create a "Super" sentence! As their writing grows throughout the year, they can add to their super sentences to create a whole story! They will also be practicing reading and writing sight words, adjectives, nouns, and positional words by using these charts.
Your students will love using these "Super Sentence" Writing Charts, with cute and colorful graphics depicting activities for every month of the year, and their confidence in writing will grow by leaps and bounds, as they become "Writing "Super Heroes!!
