This Super Six Comprehension Journal Prompts Pack provides you with 37 writing prompts. Each page contains multiple copies of the prompt to cut down on paper usage.
Includes both British and American spelling versions
Examples of prompts;
1) Visualising is when we make pictures in our heads about what we are reading, watching or listening to. Design a poster to show what visualising means.
2) Inferring is when we think about what the text is trying to tell us. We use clues from the text as well as what we already know. We put these two together to make an inference.
What can you infer about the the character’s personality? Use this sentence starter to help you;
“The character did ______, which makes me believe that they are _____”
3) Monitoring is when we stop and think about a text. We ask ourselves “Does this make sense?”
Are there any parts of the text that you don’t understand? Write down any questions you have and see if you can find a friend to help you.

This .PDF file contains the British and American spelling versions. Each version is clearly marked with a title page, please pay attention to this when printing the file.
