Super Storms Activities Weather Beyond the Text
Looking to incorporate weather science curriculum and reading together? This rand writing activity is based on Super Storms. It's the perfect addition to your weather unit or spring activities! This unit includes 5-day reading and writing lesson plans all centered around the nonfiction book, Super Storms by Seymour Simon.
This Super Storms unit is designed to be used as part of a repeated reading routine, with each day building on the previous day’s reading and at the end, students work to respond and create based on the text. Although it was designed this way, the unit does not have to be used this way in your classroom.
