Explanation of Pack:
Roll a Spelling Word- You will need a dice for this activity. Students will roll to find out what spelling word to write. They keep going until all squares are filled.
Color Me By High Frequency Word- This is a coloring activity to practice the high frequency words and spelling words of the week.
Vocab Flip-Flap- Print these pages back to back. Students fold these pages “hot dog” ways. They fill out the flip flap accordingly. If they are struggling with the definition portion,
they can look it up in the glossary at the back of
their book.
Main Idea and Detail Weather Mobile- Students cut out and fill in the different pieces. The main idea is the sun, and the clouds are the details. Fill the main idea and details from the story super storms.
Vicki/ Victor Verb- Print sheets back to back. Fill out accordingly.
Spelling Word Clouds- This is helping practice spelling words, but also help review alphabetical order.
Five Fab Facts About Storms Sheet- Students love finding facts. This is a sheet I do if I have extra time. I get out all my non- fiction weather books, and let them look for facts.
Storm Project Sheet for Parents- This is a set of sheets that can be used for students to do a project at home. I use this for my high kids. They love it!
Storm Project Brochure- This is a brochure I send home with the kids for part of their project.
Super Storms Tri-Fold- Print these sheets front to back. Students fold it like a brochure. Fill it out about the week’s selection.
