QR Code Scavenger Hunts: Synonyms & Antonyms: These QR code scavenger hunts provide a fun way to challenge your students with synonyms and antonyms. This product includes 2 separate scavenger hunts—a synonym hunt and an antonym hunt. Each hunt includes 11 synonym or antonym pairs and they can be completed simultaneously or separately. This product is a great supplement to my Super Synonym and Antonym QR Code Task Cards
Here’s a quick overview of how the QR code scavenger hunts work:
Students find the card that says “Start” and scan the QR code to reveal the first word clue. They search around the room for the appropriate synonym or antonym and scan the QR code below it. Each QR code will lead them to the next card until they complete the scavenger hunt. The students won’t know if they did the hunt correctly until the very end, when they or you check their recording sheet against the answer key. This makes it a fun challenge for them!
Your students will need access to a mobile device that can scan QR codes, such as an iPad, iPod, iPod Touch, Smart Phone, or Tablet. No work is required of the teacher, except to print, laminate, and place the cards around the room in random order.
