Kids love superheroes! Help your students write their own superhero narrative with this creative writing prompt set. They will imagine that a super villain has taken over their class, and a superhero must come to their rescue... how fun! Everything you need to help them write creative narrative stories is included. See below.

Included:
1. Parts of a Narrative Poster: Spells out ICEE, a word students can memorize and use to help them remember the parts of a narrative.
2. Writing Prompt & Tips: The prompt will help them focus their stories, and the tips align with the rubric that you will use to grade them.
3. Writing Guide (graphic organizer): This 2-page writing guide will help students write a 7-paragraph narrative that includes the important elements of a narrative (setting, characters, plot, and resolution). No more kids asking, "Is this long enough?" :)
4. Exemplar: I wrote an example that you can share with students so they know what you expect.
5. Stationery: There are 10 different superhero writing papers for students to choose from! Superheroes include Spiderman, Wolverine, Wonder Woman, Thor, Superman, the Flash, Hulk, Batman, Captain America, and Ironman.
6. Rubric: Make assessing your students' essays easy with my rubric; you will score 4 areas, worth 25 points each, for a 100 point or 100% essay.
7. Standards: Common Core and TNReady Standards pages for grades 2, 3, 4, and 5.
