A fun, superhero themed book that packs a punch!-- perfect sized book for little hands!
My kiddos loved this activity--the hole punch it is quite a hand workout! These little books work on counting, number writing, fine motor, eye-hand coordination and predictable text reading all in one.
Two sets of this book are included: One where students record the number of windows; one where students trace the correct number of windows.
These sheets could be worked on one page at a time to coordinate with a number of the week or be put together into a #1-10 counting book. Just print the pages, stack the pages up 1-10, staple the side of each book and cut on the lines to make 4 books per set of pages.
Students then use a hole punch to punch the "windows" on the skyline set of buildings on each page. Number writing comes in to play when the students count the number of windows and then write that number on each page of their little book. For added cuteness...after each page is punched, students could glue a strip of yellow construction paper to the back of the page to show the windows "glowing" with light!
