I made this cute Superhero themed activity to help my kiddos give me a quick check-in with their understanding of how -ed can play as a suffix, making words have different end sounds such as: /d/, /t/, and /id/ (or /ed/). They love it because it is Superhero themed, color-matching activity, where they are helping the Superheroes save the day. Hope your students will enjoy it as well!!
***RECENTLY UPDATED: It was requested that instead of including -id, that I also incorporate -ed. So I have uploaded it both ways depending on how you teach the suffix. You will have everything if you want to teach it as: /d/, /t/, /id/....as well as: /d/, /t/, /ed/! If that makes sense. You will see identical worksheet pages, with the different versions /id/ or /ed/ :)
Be sure to check out my other SUPERHERO themed goodies!
As well as my other Language Arts based activities!
