I wanted to create a very basic and beginning activity to introduce the idea of fractions/decimals/percents. Using a Tens Frame, the kiddos can make simple connections with fractions, decimals, and percents. I think this is a great starting point when grasping the correlation between these three areas. I have created three different worksheets in this small packet. You may use it to differentiate as needed...or use all three as the kiddos progress! The first page: gives an example of how to complete each box on the rows (then there are 5 for the students to do on their own with a given Tens Frame). The second page simply has the students complete each row on their own with a given Tens Frame. The third page has blank Tens Frame boxes, and requires your students to create their own, then fill out the fractions, decimals, percents portion. These worksheets have a sweet theme from Krista Wallden, using her "Superheroes".
