This activity has student analyze five different cases from the Supreme Court: Bethel School District #43 v. Fraser (1987), Board of Education of Independent School District #92 of Pottawatomie County v. Earls (2002), Gideon v. Wainwright (1963), Mapp v. Ohio (1961), and Miranda v. Arizona (1966). While analyzing the case, student are asked to identify facts of the case, if there is any potential bias, and how their group would vote on the case if they were the Supreme Court.
