Description

Why not combine several useful skills into what can be perceived as a dull topic? Contained within this list of 15 landmark Supreme Court cases are activities geared toward research and presentation of a case by partners in the classroom. You may choose to modify the lesson to include multimedia in presentation or expand upon the list of cases. Young historians will need to read up on minority opinions as well as the case itself when they present. Listeners are not left out as a scoresheet recording their participation is included. A rubric for presenters is provided in this 10 slide Power Point and a quick highlight of each case allows students to elect their chosen topic with full attention to the front of the classroom.

ALSO INCLUDED: Storyboard and sample presentation.
