Product Description

In this worksheet, your students will read two simplified summaries of Wickard v. Filburn and Schechter Poultry v. United States. The worksheet includes a simple background of the interstate commerce clause and how the Supreme Court is involved in these types of cases.

The students are introduced to both sides of the argument for each case and are asked to write who they think should have won and why.

Finally, the students are shown who actually won each case and are given a short explanation as to why the Supreme Court essentially contradicts itself in its decisions between these two cases.
