This is a project where the students choose an U.S. Supreme Court case and create an iMovie on the case (role playing as a journalist). There are three handouts: one is a documentation sheet on the actual case (best website to use is oyez.com). Another is a grade sheet (more a checklist...not a rubric). The last is a handout detailing very specifically how to create an iMovie. That specific sheet can be used for any iMovie. As part of this iMovie, the students will have to record a video of themselves (FaceTime), an audio recording using Garageband, and upload pictures from iPhoto.
There may be a few things here and there that are not detailed but the students have been able to follow along with the handout to create their projects.
This is an end of the year project where we can report on a case but have fun! I did not want to "box kids" in how to do this. I wanted them to have the freedom to have fun and report on the basics. If you have any questions, please let me know!
