This minimal prep
game reinforces fluency with basic multiplication and division facts and the relationships between inverse operations.
Two players per page.
8 low color pages with prewritten multiples (4 boys, 4 girls)
8 high color pages with prewritten multiples (4 boys, 4 girls)
1 page for student created multiples (low color)
Provide one factor page, 2-color counters, and 2 paper clips for each pair of students.
Game option: place board in sheet protector and use with dry erase markers instead of using counters.
Differentiate the Activity:
Students will choose their own multiples on the blank factor page.
Students will strategically choose the best multiples to help them win the game (11 cannot be marked on the factor page, but 24 can easily be marked with several factors). Place copies of this page in sheet protectors and provide dry erase markers for repeated use.
