This document is comprised of two surface area assessments. They are very similar to each other. One may be used for a pre-test and the other as a post-test. Or, if you wish, you may use one as a study guide and the other as the actual test. The first version of the assessment also has a video solution to each problem so this would be ideal to be used as a study guide. I use this in my class by distributing the first version for students for HW and I have them self check their answers by accessing the provided link.
The objects on this assessment are all comprised of rectangles, squares and triangles, specifically, cubes, rectangular prisms, triangular prisms and square pyramids.
