For this activity, students will have fun being "surgeons" and dissect each 3D object. They will use a ruler to find the dimensions of each face. Then, they will find the total area by adding the area of each face. This hands-on experience provides a concrete exploration of the abstract concept of surface area. A student recording sheet is included along with four summarizing questions. *Key included!
