This document contains THREE domino puzzles! Puzzle 1 tests the knowledge of surface area of 3D figures. Puzzle 2 tests the knowledge of volume of 3D figures. And, Puzzle 3 tests the knowledge of similar solids and changing dimension.
You can print a domino page per student, or pair to cut and piece together OR, I typically print the puzzle on colored paper, laminate it, then cut out the dominos for year-to-year use. This activity is both hands-on and highly engaging!
Students should begin the puzzle with the domino that says "Start" and then solve the problem on that domino. The answer to the problem should appear on another domino. The process continues until all domino pieces are used. I have provided a sample key. Note: the shape of the puzzle may change from student to student, but the order will remain the same.
