This is a complete lesson plan where students will find the surface area of cylinders using the surface area formula.
There is also an activity on finding the surface area by opening the figure into a net and calculating the area of each of the three figures.
There is an additional worksheet included on finding the surface area of a cylinder that is missing one of its bases.
