Students solve 12 problems involving calculating the surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms and then color a picture the appropriate color to correspond with the solution. Aligned to CCSS 7.G.6 and TEKS 7.9D.
Even middle school students love to color! This is an easy prep way to keep students practicing math while having fun. So many ways to use this coloring activity: substitute, small group, extra practice, assignment after testing, homework, or a quick reinforcement activity.
