I use this to introduce the formulas for lateral and total surface area of prisms and cylinders to my 8th graders. On page 1 I have the students add in the formulas and describe what each variable represents. There are examples for rectangular and triangular pyramids, and two different cylinders. This should be printed as 2-sided flipped on short edge. Students will glue the two pages together as labeled, then fold in half for a booklet.
