In this lesson, students will learn the formulas for lateral area and surface area of prisms, including cylinders
• Warm-Up -
The warm-up is a review of Euler's Theorem.
• Guided Notes -
Two versions are included: mostly complete and fill-in-the-blank. The notes are 2 pages long. Examples are included throughout. Vocabulary of prisms is included at the beginning of the notes.
• In-Class Practice Worksheet -
A 1 page in-class worksheet is included for practice. There are blanks included that scaffold the answers.
• Homework -
The homework is 2 pages and 10 questions.
• Answer Keys -
Completely worked out answer keys are included.
