I am always looking for ways to create engaging lessons for my kids, while integrating technology! I created this QR Multiplication activity for my students to practice multiplying 2 digit by 1 digit problems.
You can print out the cards (laminate them for durability) and place them around the room. Students go around the room, write the problem in the corresponding box on the writing workspace and solve it. After they have completed the 12 problems, they can self check their answers by scanning the QR code on the card with an iPad, iPod, or iPhone.
I used this activity as an individual assignment, but it surely could be used during a Math centers rotation.
*You will need to download a QR scanning app onto your device. There are several free apps out there! :)
