Want to teach a whole series on job applications, resumes, cover letters, job interviewing, following up and more? Then you'll love "What I Wish I Learned in School": The Complete Series
Included in this activity are those interview questions that are unexpected, but also more open-ended and elicit a creative response. This exercise helps students understand the gamut of questions that are asked at a job interview. Generally, these questions are "icebreaker" questions at the beginning of an interview or more lighthearted questions at the end.
My students were incredibly engaged with this assignment and it's a great catalyst for the critical thinking skills you will need for a job interview.
