This 2 week, Project Based Learning unit will see if your students have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse during the American Colonial Period. They must learn about the three major colonial regions (New England, Middle, and Southern) and their governments, industries, natural resources, geography, and climates. Through completing five tasks, they will be able to answer the Driving Question and deliver a fun, informative presentation.
Students will make a government proclamation using historic figures, pack a bug out (survival) bag, draw a map, chart out facts about each region, and build or design a shelter using resources from their regions.
PowerPoint Slide Show with title slide, driving question, opening activity, and 5 task sheets to present to class.
