Product Description
Students are given this form at the beginning of a unit to show the direction they are going with their learning. Prior to working through each Case Study, students self-assess where they think they might be at with already knowing each learning target. Then as we work through each Case Study, they reflect on their learning. Students mark the date in the boxes that indicate their level of understanding, and then write a short description of evidence that proves how they know. Students may refer to labs, activities, discussion, etc in their reflections. This is a great tool for interactive journals. (Each learning target connects to NGSS standards.)
