These Boom cards (for reviewing rhythms comprised of ta, ti-ti, rest, two-oo rhythms (aka quarter note, eighth notes, quarter rests and half notes) make a great station for your learning centers (use with iPads, Chromebooks or on your SmartBoards), as work for early finishers and/or for differentiation, for assigning a deck as "homework" and/or as part of your blizzard bag work.
These fun interactive games help students learn, identify and review rhythm patterns made up of quarter notes, eighth notes, quarter rests and half notes by listening to the audio pattern and matching it with its pattern. Two games for stick (Kodaly) notation and 2 games for regular style notation are included. Students will need to click on the sound file (speaker in the lower left corner) to hear the audio. Four clicks will occur first before the pattern is played to help the students feel the beat. Fifteen "task cards" are included in each set.
The cool thing about Boom cards is that all of your students can work on their own set independently! They get instant feedback (whether the answer is correct or incorrect) and you get a report of who worked on which set, how many cards they finished and how they did!
