Sweet Endings is a literacy center that provides practice with ending punctuation.
Sweet Endings can be used two ways:
1. Copy and laminate the large sentence cards. Put them in a center and
have students choose a given number of card to write on paper and add
the correct punctuation.
2. Copy the game board and small sentence cards on cardstock. Laminate and
cut apart cards. To play, students stack the cards face down. Each player draws
a card, reads it aloud, and then tells the ending mark. If correct, he/she spins
and moves that number of spaces. First person to reach the candy jar wins.
Answers can be checked using the Answer Card, so the game can be played independently.
