NEW: YOUR FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT AND VERY WELCOME!
Switcharound, written by Lois Lowery, is an awesome short novel about two children who visit their Dad in Des Moines, Iowa. They don't like the chores they have been given, and plot a revenge against their Dad. Telling you any more would spoil the story.
This activity helps students understand the sequence of the story Switcharound, and the corresponding plot vocabulary: exposition, initiating event, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.
I have created it as an editable activity to differentiate for various teaching styles and the learners in your class. It is a great activity for elementary age students, special needs, home schoolers, and ESL/EFL students.
This story is also taught in LLI at the end of Gold Level Q and this is a great culminating activity.
