Un juego de contar sílabas
Please see preview.
This game helps students to develop the ability to break words into syllables. It contains 2, 3, 4, and 5 syllable words. Students take turns choosing cards that contain a picture. Students say the word that the picture represents, clap the syllables within the word, and move that number of spaces on the game board. If they land on a space with a banana peel, they must slide back one space.
This pack includes one game board and two picture card options. One set of cards contains just pictures. The second set of cards has the same pictures but also has the word written on the card. Please use whichever set works best for you and your students.
This game is perfect for students who are just beginning to develop syllable awareness, which is a beginning step toward literacy. It makes for a great literature center or a fun guided reading lesson. Students will want to play this game again and again!
