This is a fun activity to add to your Literacy Center.
Your students will select a baseball, name the picture, count the syllables, and place the baseball onto the matching base. For example: butterfly would be placed on the 3rd base because it has 3 syllables. Cat would be place on the 1st base because it is a one syllable word.
There is 1 playing mat and 33 baseball cards.
This is also a great game to send home if a child needs extra practice identifying syllables.
