These differentiated syllable worksheets help children to identify syllables in simple compound words and multisyllabic words. They're a useful way to reinforce phonological awareness skills.

What's included:

• Syllable sorting worksheets (cut and paste the pictures)

- 3 x Level 1 - 1 to 2 syllable words

- 3 x Level 2 - 1 to 3 syllable words

- 3 x Level 3 - 1 to 4 syllable words

• Syllable counting worksheets (shade the number of syllables)

- 3 x Level 1 - 1 to 2 syllable words

- 3 x Level 2 - 1 to 3 syllable words

- 2 x Level 3 - 1 to 4 syllable words

- 1 x Level 3 - 2 to 5 syllable words

• Dot the syllables worksheets (use a bingo dauber, stamp, paint or highlighters)

- 3 x Level 1 - 1 to 2 syllable words

- 3 x Level 2 - 1 to 3 syllable words. The last worksheet has one 4 syllable word too.

- 3 x Level 3 - 1 to 4 syllable words
