Product Description

This product is directed towards a structured game led by an educator with a group of students where they are identifying the number of syllables in words. The teacher can use pictures or actual objects such as small animals to play this game. A student is chosen to choose an object for example a spider. The student then needs to count the syllables in the word spider by using the spider to move onto the drums, then counting how many drums the spider touched. Then each picture/object needs to be placed in the correct house according to how many syllables it has. This game promotes literacy, manages group experiences and helps the students to learn to be part of a group.
