*Beginning, Middle, End Graphic Organizer - Included are two differentiated organizers for drawing and writing.
*My Magic Pebble Writing Craftivity - Students will write about what would happen if they found a magic pebble! Then, students will create the craftivity portion with their hands holding their own unique pebble.
*Comparing & Contrasting Characters Venn Diagram - Students will compare and contrast Sylvester with one other character from the story. Included are two differentiated organizers for both drawing and writing.
*Sylvester's Character Traits - Students will complete a brainstorming "bubble map" of Sylvester's character traits, then complete an organizer choosing two traits of their own and citing text evidence.
*Add and Subtract with Sylvester & recording sheet - Students will complete addition/subtraction equations on the lettered cards and complete the corresponding recording sheet.
*Pebble-tastic Attributes! - This 3 day lesson involves students sorting attributes of rocks, exploring the purpose of Venn diagrams, and graphing/interpreting data!
*Mailbox Math - Students will receive a letter from Sylvester asking for help with a math problem! Included are corresponding story problem inserts for student math journals/independent practice.
