Symbols of Jamaica

In the lesson, Symbols of Jamaica, students will explore how culture and climate affect the culture and symbols in Jamaica and the United States.
1) Understand and identify ways that symbols are created as a result of environment, culture, history and climate.
2) Conduct research to build knowledge about symbols for Jamaica, the U.S. and their home state.
3) Demonstrate their knowledge using Letter Pop to publish an online brochure showing symbols for Jamaica, the U.S. and their home state.
