### Description

In this bingo game, students will practice using 4th grade symmetry skills. Small groups of 2-4 students take turns spinning. Students will use a paper clip and pencil to spin the symmetry spinner and look for a shape that has that number of lines of symmetry. If they find a matching shape, the student draws the lines of symmetry. The game ends once a player gets bingo.

INCLUDED:

•Symmetry spinner with student-friendly directions (in full color and black and white)

•4 distinct Symmetry Bingo cards (in both full color and black and white)

STANDARD 4.G.3:

Recognize a line of symmetry for a two-dimensional figure as a line across the figure such that the figure can be folded along the line into matching parts. Identify line-symmetric figures and draw lines of symmetry.

Although this center meets the above Common Core standard, this is NOT a Common Core specific skill! There is NO reference to the Common Core or the standard number on student pages, so this center is a great addition to any classroom!
