This 4th grade Christmas math center is perfect for the month of December!
Fourth grade students will enjoy this holiday game that helps them practice identifying lines of symmetry. Students also identify when a line of symmetry is drawn correctly or incorrectly and identify how many lines of symmetry different shapes have. It's great for celebrating the month of December and the winter season.
Snow Globe: Symmetry
This math game is used to help students practice identifying lines of symmetry and incorrect lines of symmetry during the winter season. Students practice with symmetry while playing a game at the same time!
It’s a 2-4 person game where students try to be the first person to build and decorate their snow globe by answering math questions correctly. Each time a student answers a game card question, they get to take a snow globe part or decoration from the middle to put on their picture. There are also chance cards in the deck that may help a student or put them back a few paces during the game! My students LOVE this game in the winter time each year and enjoy picking out which decorations they want on their snow globe.
