Symmetry Draw & Write Movie Stars
These are great for the end of the year creative writing activity for older students.
We love to combine ELA and Math together. We love the Double Whammy factor in our lessons.
Getting older students to write can sometimes be difficult Using pictures of things they know can help.
Pre-teens will love using these to write about the actors in their favorite movies.
These are great story starters with a little symmetry add in Shhh! Don't tell them they are learning.
Just print and go.
How we use these:
After we do a modeling lesson about how to finish the drawing and write a sentence, we put these into our
Science / Social Studies Center. After they finish all of them, we have them make a cover and staple them together. They have an Movie Stars book they they half illustrated and wrote to take home and read to their parents.
Ha, Ha, half illustrated!
Enjoy the fun creations the students come up with. This by far is one our favorite activities. No only does it teach about symmetry but it also is a great story starter.
This is a single classroom purchase only.
