Symmetry minibook includes definition and examples. Students complete the book by drawing the lines of symmetry through various objects (and telling whether they are horizontal or vertical lines of symmetry), completing pictures of animals (lion, frog, butterfly) by using the line of symmetry. On the back is a brief quiz. Great for students to work on independently, with partners, in small groups, or even as a whole class.
Easy enough to leave for substitutes, or use during testing weeks, or at the end of the year, while still covering CCSS.
Please print two sided and fold in half to make mini book. Stapling is optional.
