This activity helps to reinforce the symbol pictures used in this week's curriculum and in book 4 specifically. This activity can satisfy the IEP goal of vocabulary development. There are two versions of the activity included. Typically used during the Monday communication group after the picture reader "A Girl, A Boy, and A Mouse" is read to students. This expands the original time spent reading the book by another 15 minutes. It can also be used during the week to keep the vocabulary fresh for student learning.
