Synonym Cards- Entry Activity

How to use:

•Print these cards, hole punch, and keep near your door.

•Every day while I greet each student, I show them a word and they tell me a synonym to enter. I also do this on the way back from lunch with the same word. I tell them the word as a whole class while they are in line so they can be thinking of a word.

•I typically do a quick list as a class of what we all came up with. This is a great way to learn new words and repeatedly practice thinking of alternative words.
