Use these 72 self-checking synonym and antonym flash cards to increase students’ vocabulary, improve their reading comprehension and writing skills, and prepare them for standardized tests. Designed for use with grades 3–5, the cards’ levels of difficulty (I–III) can be found on the answer side of each card. Use these cards to start your morning routine, as a filler activity during transitions, or as a class game. Or have students use the cards to practice with a partner as a classroom or homework activity.
Print the cards front to back so that the questions are on one side and the answers are on the other, and then cut the cards apart. If making a permanent class set, laminate the pages before you cut the cards apart.
