Synonyms: a new game of Tic-Tac-Toe has 24 printable game boards to help your students increase their word power. Students take turns matching synonyms, trying to get three in a row with word-pairs like respect and admire, love and adore, over and above. There is no need to grade student work since they check the answer of their opponent while playing. It’s fun. It’s fast-paced. Students will not need to be reminded to “get your work done” because the work is disguised as a game.
