Description

Great for Literacy Centers, and Word Work activities in differentiated and inclusive classrooms.
There are 7 pages with 3 sets of cards on them, which need to be cut out. They are of basic nouns, a few verbs and adjectives.
Good for ELL students and differentiated centers.

After printing, they can/should be backed with a stronger paper, or laminated for repeated use.

While I am with a small group, students are at centers. A few of the centers are a matching word set, and at the "alarm" they write the synonyms they matched in their center's journal.

Tactile, repetitive lessons are necessary for many children.

Common Core Standard:
Demonstrate understanding of words by relating them to their opposites (antonyms) and to words with similar but not identical meanings (synonyms).
