Do you want a fun game to practice Synonyms and Antonyms? My students love playing scavenger hunt games. The object of the game is to figure out the secret phrase by using context clues to figure out synonyms and antonyms. So they will be practicing two types of vocabulary skills while playing the game. The words included are 3rd grade appropriate but can be used for high level 2nd graders or low level 4th graders.
The file contains directions for set up, rules and suggestions. All the materials are in black and white which makes it ink friendly.
**** I have included and editable PowerPoint version of the answer cards so you can use whichever phrase/words you'd like. ****
Do you use QR codes in your classroom? I have also included them as a choice to use for answer cards.
Please check out the preview for all that is included and don't hesitate to ask me questions before purchasing.
Covers the following Common Core Standards:
Use sentence-level context as a clue to the meaning of a word or phrase.
